     Owning an RV park has been a dream of ours for years—one rooted in a love for the outdoors, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to create a peaceful place where folks could truly feel at home. After many miles traveled and countless sunsets watched from our own RV, we finally found the perfect spot nestled just above Buck’s Pocket State Park in North Alabama.

What started as a quiet vision turned into Above the Pocket RV Park—a small, long-term park built with heart, hard work, and a whole lot of hope. We wanted to create more than just a place to park—we wanted to build a community, where neighbors know each other, nature is right outside your door, and every morning feels like a fresh start.
